Mr Michael Glaysher BM (Hons) MD FRCS (Eng) is a Consultant General, Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, UK. He has a specialist interest in complex abdominal wall and hernia surgery, with a particular focus on robotic approaches to ventral and incisional hernia repair. He completed a post-CCT fellowship in upper gastrointestinal, abdominal wall and metabolic surgery and is trained in advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques. Michael is a member of the British Hernia Society Training and Education Sub-committee and has a strong interest in surgical education and outcomes-focused hernia care.
