Dr. Assad Zahid is a Robotic Colorectal Surgeon. His advanced fellowship training in colorectal surgery (Notaras Scholarship in CSSANZ training) was completed at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He then completed further fellowships in the United Kingdom at St Mark’s and Basingstoke Hospitals. Dr Zahid has a keen interest in research and education. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at The Australian National University and Western Sydney University. He has published in over 50 peer-review journals. He has completed a Master of Surgery as well as a Master of Philosophy. And he has been awarded his PhD in Surgical Education and training.
