Ellen Van Eetvelde is an MD, consultant colorectal surgeon and head of the department of Abdominal & Pediatric Surgery at UZ Brussel. She is the past president of the Robotic Surgery Working Group (RSWG) and board member of the Belgian Section of Colorectal Surgery (BSCRS). She is currently the Belgian national representative for the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) and is part of the faculty of Colorobotica, a robotic training program endorsed by ESCP.
Her clinical focus is mainly on colorectal cancer surgery. Her research interests are robotic colorectal surgery, low impact surgery and oncogeriatric surgery.
