Ioanna Drami is an ST8 colorectal trainee in the London Deanery and a PhD candidate in the BiCyCLE Research Group at St Mark’s Hospital and Imperial College London. Her research focuses on body composition, automated deep-learning analysis of CT imaging and perioperative optimisation. She is President of the Dukes’ Club for Colorectal Surgical Trainees, having previously served as the Advanced cancer subcommittee representative. She is a member of the Early Career Advisory Board of Colorectal Disease and has been involved in curriculum development for advanced cancer and the development of laparoscopic and robotic courses. She has authored around 25 peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national and international meetings.
