Patricia Tejedor is a Consultant Colorectal and Robotic Surgeon at University Hospital Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, Spain, a position she has held since 2021. She graduated from the University of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain) and completed her higher surgical training in the United Kingdom. In 2018, she was awarded a PhD focused on pelvic floor disorders. She subsequently undertook two fellowships in robotic colorectal surgery, in Portsmouth (UK) and Santander (Spain), further specialising in minimally invasive techniques. Her main clinical and research interests include colorectal cancer, recurrent rectal cancer, and robotic surgery. Since July 2024, she has served as Technology Advisor for the BJS.
